CAROL S. DWECK

Everyone on this planet is dreaming of success. Of course, I am not telling here how the idea of success is the same for everyone, but I am telling how everyone wants to achieve something. For how many times have you felt completely unmotivated while at the same time you wanted to achieve some goal so hard? Who helped you to stay motivated on the right road constantly? In this article, I want to introduce you to Carol S. Dweck. This amazing lady has recently turned 72, but it seems like how age really is just a number. Carol is known worldwide as one of the leading researchers when it comes to motivation.

Dweck is also a psychology professor at Stanford University. Of course, that is not the only university this smart and talented woman has worked at. Carol could also be seen working in Columbia and  at Harvard Universities. I have already told you how this lady is now 72. You can guess how she had a lot of time to work in the field of motivation. Carol was also elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Carol believes how people just need a little bit of motivation to do the right things in life. Dweck also believes how we all carry different talents inside ourselves, yet, those need to be woken up somehow.

There are plenty of young people these days who don’t know what to do with their lives. They are constantly unmotivated about everything. Yet, we can all see how there is always plenty of work in our society. If everyone was motivated to do something good for our globe, there literally wouldn’t exist any boundary for our human race to expand.

Unfortunately, still not many people think that way or even think about that at all. Where can you see some of Carol Dweck’s work? It was published literally everywhere. Those who want to learn everything they should know about motivation can search for her work in the New York Times, The Washington Post, The New Yorker, Time, Today, 20/20, and The Boston Globe.

According to Carol, it is all about creating a proper mindset. People usually believe how if they need to motivate themselves about something, how they actually shouldn’t do that. That may be the truth for people from our ancient past, but definitely not for us. The times have changed and people are literally wasting their precious time and energy on some bizarre things. That is not why we are here. That is not why we live.

We live to expand ourselves to our full potentials. We live to express our beings. We live to create something. If more people would listen to Carol, a smart and talented lady, our society would definitely become a better place. Just start with yourself. Think about motivating yourself. For what do you need to motivate yourself? Set small goals at first. Later, you will see how you have it all in yourself naturally. We have all just went too far from our true beings.

Let’s change that together! Carol Dweck is willing to help us!

“We like to think of our champions and idols as superheroes who were born different from us. We don’t like to think of them as relatively ordinary people who made themselves extraordinary.”
